A local charity is appealing for second hand bikes which are not being used so they can pimp them up and find a new home!
Somerset charity CCS (The Community Council for Somerset) would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to Taunton residents for donating their second-hand bikes to the Bike appeal. So far, they have matched 100 bikes with new owners but they need more.
The charity are looking for adult-size bikes that are in good condition – meaning nearly ready to ride, with two wheels, pedals and handlebars. Donated bikes may need a little TLC, but sadly we can’t take bikes that are rusty or beyond repair.
If you have a bike to donate please get in touch with CCS Village Agent Izzy via email izzy@Somersetrcc.org.uk with your name and phone number and a brief description of the bike or call 07931 018 045 to arrange for a free collection.
