She’s coming home… with a bronze…Hannah’s coming home!
Team GB Paralympian, Hannah Taunton has delighted friends, family and running colleagues by winning a bronze medal in Tokyo 2020! The T20 discipline is for those with an intellectual impairment, meaning that the disruption to her schedule and many changes to her routine became a real challenge.
Hannah, 30, whose T20 1500m race was delayed for a year because of COVID, represents Taunton Athletics Club – she has still had a successful 18 months.
In Manchester last year at the British Championships, she broke the T20 world record for 5000m on the track, clocking a time of 17:17.30 – as well as finishing fifth at the World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai in 2019 in
the 1500m.
