Tone News has been contacted by Jo Pollard from Priorswood to tell us about how her 8 year old daughter, has put her lockdown time to good use!
Jasmine Pollard who attends St Andrews Primary School spent her pocket money on 100 key rings and decorated them as a thank you to share amongst key workers fighting the coronavirus in Taunton.
Jo told us:
“I just wanted to send some positive news. My 8 year old daughter wanted to make something to say thank you to our local hero’s. Both my husband and I are key workers and she felt she wanted to say thank you, so she bought 100 key rings from her pocket money and spent hours decorating them!
“They all had messages written on the back and she has now sent them out to nurses, bankers, paramedics, GPS amazon delivery people, bin men and staff at ASDA and Morrisons so far!
“A friend brought another 100 for her so more can be given out. I am a super proud mum.”
