Pontispool Equine Sports Centre, a competition venue based near Taunton in Somerset, has announced Masons Kings as its title sponsor for its March British Eventing Horse Trials which take place on March 14 and 15.
The event is the first of three affiliated competitions in 2020 at the popular venue and includes classes from BE100 up to Advanced Intermediate.

Richard Mitford-Slade, who organises the event with his partner Lucy Fielding-Johnson, told Tone News: “We’ve been working with Masons Kings for a number of years and, as well as supplying equipment for the farm, they have been loaning us their Gators for use during the events.
“We’re delighted to step up our association to title sponsorship. The company is held in the highest regard in the Westcountry, and is the go to place for anyone requiring farm machinery.”
Masons Kings is a family-run business offering premium products from leading manufacturers in the agricultural and turf industries and has three branches, in Exbridge, Chudleigh and St Columb.
Hundreds of competitors are expected to compete at the early-season event with courses designed by Eric Winter, who is also responsible for Badminton Horse Trials, run over 200 acres of permanent pasture and parkland.
Fences include three water complexes with all-weather take off and landings at permanent obstacles. Showjumping takes place in the Wychanger all-weather arena.
