Tone News has been contacted by a mum from Taunton who is trying to raise money to buy 5 dyslexia pens for Bishop Henderson C of E School in Galmington.
Kat Morgan, whose triplets attend the primary school says:
“Hi there, I’m raising money for my triplets primary school as funding for schools these days is scarce. I’m trying to raise £1000 for 5 dyslexic pens that help children that are struggling to read and have to have an adult present all the time when reading.
“These pens help children have independence with reading and have excitement to want to read a book again all by them selves.
“My 9 year old son suffers badly with dyslexia and he struggles with it so much, he’s still having to read year one books.
“These pens would give him the freedom to go to the school library and read a book that excites him as the pen will read the words out to him that he would struggle with.
Please can you help by sharing the details of my fund raising?
Many thanks, Kat”
