Taking place on Saturday 11 July, the Royal Navy’s award winning airshow is one of the Southwest’s most notable one day events attracting up to 40,000 visitors.
Featuring five hours of spectacular flying displays from state-of-the-art fast jets, helicopters, classic jets, historic warbirds and magnificent formation aerobatic teams.
There will be breathtaking role demonstrations by the Royal Navy with plenty of pyrotechnics!
With 2020 being the 75th anniversary year of VE and VJ Days, RNIAD will be a marvellous opportunity for nations to come together in commemoration of the end of WW2 as we salute the past, showcase the present and offer an insight into the future capabilities of the UK armed forces and our allied nations.
There will be a vast range of showground attractions from the latest defence technology exhibitions, service displays to trade stalls, arena displays, military bands and the chance to meet the pilots and even sit in the cockpit!
In the STEM Zone, children can take part in many interactive activities providing opportunities to learn about the fascinating modern cutting-edge technology that is around us every day.
For the thrill seekers, there will be simulators, fairground rides and helicopter pleasure flights to enjoy.
